Feedback on 'Love Me in the End' - Sonia Kundra Singh

Book Name : Love Me in the End....are perfect matches still made in Heaven
Author : Sonia Kundra Singh

Initial reaction : Came across this book through flipkart, after reading the reviews, decided to go ahead and buy the book. Just another run-of-the-mill romance stories, I thought!!

Synopsis : Its all about the impulsive Ria and the head strong Armaan and a situation of an arranged marriage. The journey of hate and love, culminating into a beautiful story of 'Love Me in the End'

My Personal Feedback : As the heading goes, another chic-lit love story. I was prepared to go through another 200 odd pages of a love story between this time, Ria and Armaan.  To begin with, I loved both the names used by the author. Story started at a good pace, dropped a little bit towards the middle and gained a lot of momentum towards the end-which kept me adequately interested in what was going on. I absolutely fell in love with Ria's character, thought Armaan's character could see better times.
The author in Sonia has indeed got good writing skills, good job done with the story. Can definitely improve in her next novel.
A rating of 3.5/5, simply for the reason, the ending was beautiful, the start and the middle portions could be worked upon better.

Feedback - Till the Last Breath by Durjoy Datta

Book Name : Till the Last Breath
Author : Durjoy Datta

Personal Opinion: Being a huge fan of Durjoy Datta, since his first book, Durjoy gets only better with his books. This one speaks volumes of the talent that Durjoy possesses. Normally a Durjoy book would contain a lot of intimate scenes between characters, yet here he has managed to write a book with hardly any substantial 'intimate-scene' content. I absolutely loved this book, I could actually picture the entire book like a film, as I kept reading. Liked the scenes in the hospital, beautiful narration lines of Pihu's character. The doc Armaan, Kajal and Zara's lines were beautifully written too.
This book deals with maturity on the part of the author and with emotions that are felt in the real life.

All in all, this book makes a Must-Read and should hold a place in every book-shelf of the Indian reader. As a reader, and not being a biased Durjoy Datta fan, I'd rate 'Till the Last Breath' 4.5/5. A book you should definitely not miss out on.

Feedback - The India I dream of...

Book Name : When Life tricked me.. and love kicked me...Author : Vikrant Khanna
Synopsis : Story about a bunch of youngsters who come together to serve a common purpose, MAKE A CHANGE! They turn to the social networking world of Facebook. But, in a country where the attitude 'chalta hai' works, in every walk of life-will Facebook and a bunch of youngsters be able to change, and will we Indians even care for the effort. Come and be part of the change.....with Harsh, Dev and Nikita.

My Personal Review : I among many others, was anxiously waiting for this book release, after the author's fantastic debut of 'When Life tricked me'. This book by its title, and the sheer talent of the author in terms of his writing skills and exemplary language was sure to catch everyone by storm. Its a good novel to read, especially when we as Indians can connect to this book, for the author has mentioned nothing unrealistic but, things that happen in our every day-t0 day life. Character potrayal was good, I liked the character of Dev. The book goes slow in certain places, picks up in others-overall a good read, it gets the message across LOUD AND CLEAR to every Indian reading the book. In comparison to Vikran't first book, I believe he has gone a few notches lower in terms of expectations from his fans. Looking for a resurgence from Vikrant in his next book. On a scale of 5, I'd give a 3.5.

A little on Vikrant : A guy who plays the guitar, composes songs and does a bit of cooking is surely gotta be one cool dude. To top it all he is the captain in the Merchant Navy. A wonderful person and a good author. Go well buddy! You are truly blessed and talented, keep up the good work :)

Feedback - Naughty Men by Siddharth Narayan

Book Name : Naughty Men
Author : Siddharth Narayan

Personal Feedback : This book is definitely right up there as a 'good-feel-factor' book. Beautifully written, loved the flow - and moreover a book that will have you in fits of laughter all the way through. I read this book in 3 hours flat, its a book you would not want to put down-till you have finished the entire story. From scenes of the Nunu (his dick), the Narayan Swamy episodes to the lines of Rajnikant conversations, loved it all.
A strong recommendation to all book lovers, to grab your copy of 'Naughty Men'. Both my dad and mum have read it and have enjoyed it thoroughly. It is a highly addictive story, and somewhere down the line, guys of all ages will relate to this book. The ladies will equally enjoy the book. Am lucky enough to have spotted this book on flipkart, and immediately got to ordering it and finishing it off in no time.
There are a few parts that will have you in almost uncontrollable laughter, one such are the conversations with Karan and the 'Baby Detective Agency' and Baby Sir. Would not want to divulge much on the story. Just go ahead and have a read, and I am sure this is one book you will not have regrets on purchase.

Good Language, great story line and moreover the purpose of Siddharth entertaining his readers through his book - FULFILLED! Way to go bro! Great piece of work. On a scale of 5, I would rate Siddharth Narayan's - Naughty Men 4.5/5.

About the Author Siddharth : He lives and works in Bangalore, a few streets away from his character. Naughty Men is his first book, and going by his success we hope to see many many more books from him.

Feedback on 'Thirty Year Old Virgin' - Ankit Uttam

Book Name : Thirty Year Old Virgin
Author : Ankit Uttam

If you are looking to get something in the form of the gist of the story from the back side of the book, it is as confusing as the entire story once you open the book. Let me get to my feedback. A Review for this kind of garbage is way below my dignity.

Feedback :
Reading a book should be a pleasant experience, unfortunately reading this piece of English Literature was 'painful' to say in the least, it took me 3 weekends to finish the entire book. The Language is not up to standard, and it seems that the Author, if he thought that Erotica could make his book sell, he is sadly mistaken-one cannot even term it as proper erotica, but just garbage coming out from a sex-starved maniac - that is Ankit Uttam.
Writing a review on the same, will be stooping down to the levels of Ankit Uttam. Hence, will refrain from the same.
A humble request to book readers, this book is not worth a read...for a price that is Rs.125/-, I would suggest go out with a good friend and have a good time, for money can be spend in a more fruitful way rather than throwing it over Ankit Uttam's 'Thirty year old Virgin'.

I bought this book as a part of a combo-pack along with Ishita Bhown's 'ToGetHer' and Azharuddin's 'Ten Days'.
I always wondered why wasn't Ankit Uttam's books ever recommended by friends to be read - I certainly have my answer now, and with 2 more books that I have purchased of the same author, I wonder if there could be a refund given to me from the author himself-for I have wasted my precious-hard-earned-money on the same.

On a scale of 5, I would rate this book a low 2/5, for the simple reason....the book gets bearable towards the end with the 'sex talk' at minimal. Sheesh!! Never felt so disgusting after having read any other book.

Review 1. When Life Tricked me......

Book Name : When Life tricked me.. and love kicked me...Author : Vikrant Khanna

Synopsis : The story revolves around a bunch of youngsters, excited, exuberant and having lots of ideas about life minus the dedication. Its about how life plays a role in the lives of Raghav, Vik, Nirvaan, Rachna, Ruheen and Purnima. Does one dictate how ones life pans out or does life eventually have the final say? A peek into the lives of the ambitious Raghav, the always-look-out-for-girls Nirvaan, the laid back Vik and the three damsels - carefree Rachana, pretty Ruheen, and the always-want-to-look-perfect Purnima.

My Personal Review : This is an awesome novel. A novel. definately not to miss out on. It would make an interesting read to anyone who enjoys reading a good story. Just when you feel you are having a good time, an unexpected twist draws you on the edge of your seat. Emotions very well expressed. The Author has done a splendid job in character portrayal, especially the characters of Raghav (the main protagonist in the story), Nirvaan - in portraying what every boy would do at that age and Ruheen, the charismatic personality that any guy reading the novel would fall in love with. For all those gals into fashion, the character of Purnima would do justice to a sentence that relates them to the novel saying 'I am so like Purnima'. The Author has also done a fabulous job in connecting his story with real life. Its a book you would not want to put down, until you've finished the entire story. I enjoyed every page, as I kept reading on until I finished the entire story. I enjoyed every page, as I kept reading on until I finished the entire book. After I was done, it wasn't just a story anymore - I was part of a wonderful journey, there was a flurry of emotions running through me, of sadness, happiness and the joy of being part of something really special. It would mean much more to the author, if I mentioned 'Sir, I have recommended your book to my students, as a must read for the simple reason of clear and simple language, and a guaranteed smile after they are through'.
Brilliant work Vikrant, Keep up the good work!! Cheers! For an avid reader like me, I would rate Vikrant Khanna's 'When life tricked me..and life kicked me', a healthy rating of a 4.8 on 5. If you were to go to a shop and find this book on the shelf, I would say - do not think twice. It will make a perfectly good day better. A smile guaranteed.

An Insight into the Author Vikrant Khanna :

Vikrant Khanna is a Delhi Boy, having studied at Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar. A Captain by profession in the Merchant Navy. An avid guitarist and fond of composing songs. You meet this dude around Delhi city, you tell him to strum a few strings on his guitar for you, and I'm sure he'll do it with a smile.
